Our Counseling Distinctive’s

  1. Biblical Wisdom vs. Human Understanding We rely on the timeless truth of Scripture as the foundation for daily living and wise decision-making, rather than leaning on our own limited understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

  2. Christ-Esteem vs. Self-Esteem We help clients discover and live out their true identity in Christ, rather than pursuing fragile self-esteem. (Colossians 2:6-8)

  3. Heart Transformation vs. Intellectual Knowledge We seek genuine heart change through the power of the Holy Spirit and the personal application of God’s Word. (Hebrews 4:16)

  4. Root Issues vs. Surface-Level Behavior Change We guide clients through a process that identifies and resolves underlying spiritual and emotional issues, recognizing that “out of the heart are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)

  5. Reconciliation vs. Victim Mentality We encourage biblical forgiveness and the restoration of relationships with family and others, leading to freedom and new beginnings. (2 Corinthians 5:17-20)
