The History of IBCC

The
International Center for Biblical Counseling of
Indiana (ICBC of Indiana) began over ten years
ago as a "daughter ministry" of ICBC International, founded by Dr. Mark Bubeck
in Sioux City, Iowa. The purpose of ICBC of Indiana was
and continues to be providing biblical discipleship
counseling for hurting believers. Under the
direction of Center Director Rev. Jeff Pokone and the
Board of directors, ICBC of Indiana later became a
separate 501(c)(3) entity from ICBC International.
In the fall
of 2006, ICBC International relocated from Sioux City,
Iowa, to Westfield,
Indiana, and has now merged with and come under the
leadership of Deeper Walk Ministries, founded and
directed by Dr. Marcus Warner.
To avoid confusion over these changes, the Board of
Directors of ICBC of Indiana has decided to change
the ministry
name to the Indiana Biblical Counseling Center. For
donation purposes, it is important to understand that IBCC
is a separate 501(c)(3) entity from ICBC International. |
